Who We Are:

King's Cross is an independent reformed Christian church. We are a warm-hearted, Spirit-filled, evangelistic congregation that is rigorously grounded in the theology of the Reformed faith.

We hold the Bible to be the only infallible authority for faith and practice for all of life. Our worship is liturgical, bold and interactive. We sing psalms, hymns and worship songs. We worship together as families. And most Sundays we gather for a fellowship lunch at the home of a member family.

Our goal is to equip Christians to serve God faithfully in every area of life. We believe this begins with daily devotion and reading God's word, strong, biblically ordered families, corporate worship, and developing the gifts God has given you to serve the body and impact the world for Christ.

As a church, we want to equip the saints for the work of the ministry in their families and life callings. We do this through faithful preaching and teaching, joyful worship and loving relationships.

Location:

We are located in the Town of Boone on the east side on Highway 421 near Watauga High School and Mo's Boots (map below). Come join us on Sunday as we exalt the name of Christ above every other name. We often have lunch at the house of a member family after church and all are welcome. 

Our Pastor:

In March of 2024, James Lynch of Durham, NC accepted a full time pastor position at King's Cross. James in is his mid-30's. He and his wife Elizabeth and have 5 children. We are so thankful to have the Lynches join King's Cross as we lay what we hope in the Lord will be solid foundations for many generations to come. James earned a Th.M. in Christian Ethics and an M.Div. in Christian Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
